A EUROPEAN FOLK MUSIC CELEBRATION
Saturday 3rd March 2007 7.15pm
An evening of exploration from across continental Europe. Bringing together five of the best performers on the folk scene today, all on stage together, featuring Pete Morton from England, Flossie Malavialle from France, and Alfred den Ouden from Belgium, backed by Roger Wilson on the fiddle and Chris Parkinson on the piano accordion. Songs in English, Flemish, Dutch and French. Both original and well known songs from their native lands. From the Chanson tradition of Jacques Brell, to traditional songs and tunes from the British Isles.
An event not to be missed ... be a trail blazer.
