Don Giovanni, an amorous nobleman, accompanied by his occasionally faithful servant Leporello, continues his quest of seduction across Europe. We meet just three of Don Giovanni's conquests in the opera; Donna Anna and Donna Elvira and the local country girl, Zerlina.

Donna Anna is the first to appear. When her father, the Commendatore, catches Don Giovanni seducing her, he attempts to protect her honour and in the ensuing duel is fatally wounded by Don Giovanni.

Don Giovanni and Leporello then meet Elvira, who is complaining of her recent betrayal by Giovanni. Once he has recognised her, Giovanni flees, leaving Leporello to comfort her, by explaining that she is just one of 2,065 conquests.

Don Giovanni is captivated by Zerlina, and despite knowing that she is to be married to Masetto, continues his attempts at seduction. Disguised as Leporello, he manages to part the local lovers. Elvira repeatedly tries to intervene, while Giovanni attempts to elude Don Ottavio and Masetto, the two fiancés.

When Giovanni stumbles upon a statue of the dead Commendatore he continues with his confident air. The statue speaks and warns him that his end is near. Unmoved, Giovanni invites him to dinner. Will the Commendatore reek his vengeance and will Giovanni receive his just deserts?

Tickets: £60, £45, £25
Donaldson Room Tickets are an additional £40 (to include a champagne reception during the interval)
Fundraising is now underway for a 2008 tour to The Britten Theatre in South Kensington. Additional performance opportunities in London give critics, agents and opera managements unable to see the production in Cheshire a second chance to hear exceptionally talented young professional singers perform in the heart of the country's capital city.

We would like to thank all those who have so generously supported this year's London Tour.
