A  FOLK MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA
Saturday 8th March 2008 7.15pm
After the success of our European folk evening last year, we are delighted to welcome the return of Flossie Malavialle and Pete Morton. Focusing, this time, on songs and music from the British Isles, they will be sharing the stage with Colum Sands from Ireland and Mike and Ali Vass from Scotland.

French singer Flossie Malavialle has a remarkable voice and stage presence, as well as a terrific sense of humour. Her interpretations of the songs of Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf rub shoulders effortlessly with enchanting songs in English. Colum Sands is a gentle and thought-provoking songwriter and storyteller, with charming wit and entertaining stories. Trying to get a word in edgeways will be our MC for the evening, the charismatic songsmith Pete Morton, who will also throw in a song or two! Duo, Mike and Ali Vass, whose invigorating piano and fiddle will be the icing on the cake! A wonderful night - not to be missed!

(Pre-order hog roast or bring your own food, licensed bar available)
