Folk@Clonter
Saturday 20th March 2010 7.00pm
A night of folk and frolics to be MC'd by Geoff Chaucer Junior, an exciting new act on the folk scene.
Geoff will be joined by the quirky quartet The New Rope String Band, a talented group of musicians playing beautiful
and invigorating acoustic music from various traditions around the world. Between them, they sing, dance and play
their little hearts out on fiddles, guitar, piano, accordion, mandolin and anything else that comes to hand.
They provide folk music and cabaret, but most of all they provide fun and laughter.
Also joining the line up will be singer Bram Taylor, who has a repertoire of traditional songs, mixed with
contemporary and humorous material, performed on acoustic guitar, duet concertina or unaccompanied.
Bram has his audiences singing, laughing from his infectious sense of humour and, occasionally, shedding a tear or two.
